We have an excellent opportunity for a New Business Director to join this rapidly growing mobile solutions organisation. Due to continued expansion throughout EMEA a new position has been created to focus on the development of strategic business opportunities with pan EMEA mobile operators (MNO), and media organisations.
Our client is a global business offering a range of solutions around mobile content delivery and associated services. The recipient of numerous awards they are widely tipped as a significant organisation expected to continue their impressive level of growth and success. In order to support the business they are now looking to appoint a New Business Director, reporting to the board to spearhead the identification, development and delivery of new customers across the UK and EMEA. The initial focus will be looking at major MNOs (e.g. Vodafone, Orange, O2, T-Mobile, etc) and major international media organisations (e.g. Disney, Time Warner, Vivendi, etc), to develop initial strategic wins for our clients services. There is an emphasis here on solution led selling which will need to be conducted at a senior level within these organisations. This should be considered a traditional "Hunter" position with a strong focus on developing wins but also developing longer term high value deals.
The ideal candidate - Our client's culture is built upon a foundation of entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, energy and teamwork. It is very important that the New Business Director is a leading example of these ethics. You will be highly experienced in solution selling to Mobile Network Operators and Media organisations across the UK (and ideally EMEA) and this will be evident in your track record of over target achievement. You will have a consultative approach to sales which is likely to have been developed through experience of working within the systems integration, mobile services or associated technology space. We are particularly interested in talking to individuals with expertise in mobile messaging, advertising, and content delivery.
This position will be based from home around the south of the UK, ideally with good access to London, Thames Valley and the South West/East. A full package is on offer with a base salary circa £70k+ (£130k+ OTE).
